Hello, I'm 32 weeks pregnant and was sick the whole time I was on iron pills and take my prenatal, but with my last blood test level was very low. The gynecologist referred me to my general practitioner to understand no more blood tests, all of this, I'm on the outcome of today .... Was there ever such a thing? What have they done to you?

I just discovered this week that my hemoglobin levels are very low, and the doctor has me on iron tablets with my prenatal. I also eat foods rich in iron during the day. I have blood work again tomorrow, so hopefully we will see improvements.
If your iron is too low, it can give IV iron once a week for 3 weeks and usually puts you in a "safe" level.
